Hi Bill!
We go back a long way. On May first I will have held my VocalTec stock for more that a year and a half but I am not tempted to sell. I agree with all you say about stock manipulation and insider tading. This is a danger that Shlomi Cohen has referred to in the past on numerous occasions. So, this last incident comes to me as no surprise. The only people who are at risk are the traders. If I had tried to outguess the market and compete with the insiders I wouldn't be where I am today.

Bill, I think VocalTec will have its day. It doesn't sound to me as though they are in any serious financial condition. It doesn't look to me as though they are going to go broke. They appear to have numerous strategic agreements with strong partners which should have a stabilizing effect. They are currently the leader in an industry that everyone predicts will have an explosive future.

As far as getting out now is concerned, and trying to guess when to get back in, do you remember when the Deutsch Telecom agreement was announced, and the stock shot up from around 20 to over 33 in almost the same day? I'm sure you also remember the big insider and management selloff that followed, which Shlomi discussed with full candor. Bill, I rely heavily on what he is generous enough to share. In previous posts Shlomi predicted that the rest of the year will show a big improvement and that there is some possibility of a takeover at 25 or better. I intend to keep my stock until well into 1999 or the year 2000.

Kindest regards,

Don
