Hello Joe: Marie Simmons here, Joe's assistant. Joe is currently out of the office/country through November 14. I will forward a copy of your email to him. Marie
>>> Joe Antol <jantol@monmouth.com> 11/02/96 09:08pm >>> <sigh>, <groan>, <expletive deleted>....
Do you guys intend to do ANYTHING or just fold up your tents and go chap. 11? =========== The rest of the 19 page you know I posted it here ========
Well now, Joe is out of the country right now. Hmmmm.... You know, I also copied Peter Troop. I did get one (1) response from Peter Troop awhile back, and I replied to each of his points. You know what else? I never heard from him again <G>. Wonder why? I guess I should feel flattered that I got this response, right? NOT!
Well, I told you all I would post a response if I got one. Draw your own conclusions. ====================================================================== Dennis, with regard to the rest of your post #4576:
I know you are very, VERY frustrated with the management of this company. I think it's a safe bet to say that even the good folk here with a "lot" more tolerance than I (or you) are feeling the same.
Having said that, I feel there is a "right way" and a "wrong way" to proceed with a) getting attention, and b) getting action, movement, lighting a fire under someone's arse, or whatever <g>.
I appreciate the affinity you have expressed, first of all with Barry, and now with me, with regard to assignment of proxy. That's giving away a "big" power (sorta like making someone a trustee or granting full power of attorney).
I personally don't think using a WWW page (mine or anyone elses for that matter) is the "right" way to go about something like that. And as much as I am "pounding the hell out of Novell management" right now, like I said before, there's a right and wrong way. Doing what you are suggesting IMO is the wrong way (too reactionary).
Supposedly, there is some kind of alliance coming down between IBM, Sun, Oracle whereas NDS will be adopted as an industry standard. And then there is the appointment of the new CEO (I CANNOT believe it will be Marengi).
I want to see what happens "if" and "if ever" this happens. Then, I will evaluate the situation. I feel we will see something come down within the next 30-60 days.
Again, thanks for your vote of confidence.
Best Regards,
Joe...
