Gosh, Penni!!! I don't think I would risk cooking asparagus again until your husband is back, now that you KNOW it is an aphrodisiac. The spectacle of you climbing the walls or something in his absence would totally destroy the "marriage is hard work, and not all sex" message you were trying to deliver subtly earlier this week to your boys. If you are saying that you want to make sure they go to bathroom at school after indulging in stalks of the goddess, I certainly understand. This metallic after effect is what everyone at Feelings was too delicate to discuss yesterday. You know how refined we all are over there, even Alex!! Do you have a favorite asparagus recipe you would like to share? My family does not like asparagus, so I am trying to find a way to cook it which would change their minds. They like rice a lot, and I thought maybe a risotto, but I am definitely open to more creative suggestions.
