Sig,
DELL, the stock of the decade...Ect

I was looking at GTW's earnings report and all of the comments made.
GTW's improvements was driven mainly through inventory management. This was very good for GTW.

The thing I find interesting is that the rest of their model was static.
DELL achieves great economies of scale through this type of inventory management, I think GTW hassomeone from DELL showing them how to do it.

So what is the point.
We all know that nothing bad, like a slowdown, could ever occure in the PC market. But please hypothisise with me.
DELL keeps squeezing better and better resultl through better and better inventory management. (Sales growth and all of that too)
It is the Inventory situation that drives hardly believable increases in efficiency.
Does this imply that the rest of their cost structure is fairly static? and if it is, then how much of a falloff in unit growth or revenue growth would be required for the company to drop to a net loss?
This is an excersize, anyones participations is encouraged.

Jim
