David,
David, I really don't give dime what you do with your Mot, nor I care to argue with you about the future of the company! What I posted, as directed at those a Mot investors, who like myself, are pissed-off at the way they have been screws by the Mot management! The departure of the young Mr. Glavin maybe be a blessing! Good luck to to those loyal investors who will take their chances and stick with MOT!
In early 1982, GE and Westinghouse where to giants, almost equal, and both seemed to have bright futures! GE became the no.1 and Westinghouse became the looser! Mot has gone the same way as the Westinhouse, it is a terminally sick giant! Probably it will be dying from the same cancer 10 years from now, but who cares to hand arround!
Mot lost the GSM battle world-wide, they are loosing their major business contracts, and yet to feel the pinch of the Asian crisis! (we shall see that in the next three quarters, as already announced by the company!
Mot return to their investors since 1996 has been nill! We should look at Ericsson and Nokia return to the investors for the same period! We invest not because of our loyalty to the brand, but because the brand is loyal to the investors! This has not been the case of Mot! |
