Of the 27 indicators in Marketgauge, 20 are dead neutral. Some of these will only turn bearish in the wake of an ongoing decline. But I am not committing any more money on the short side until I can see some entrails hanging out. I don't think we can count on anything definite until we are actually down a thousand points and some real caution starts to set in. There are still plenty of shorts that want to cover on the way down, too.
