A revision to an estimate this close to an earnings report would smack of insider knowledge, especially since (1) they are basically the only house issuing a report and (2) the only news to come out from the company has been good if not great. There is no valid reason for a downgrade at this time. Sounds to me like it is an unfounded rumor spread by someone who got caught short.
