Well, it wasn't "Home on the Range" day today, because there were more than a few discouraging words heard. But then, considering we are in the untouchable sector with sentiment pretty negative even among those long in the running here at Drillers' Pamplona, perhaps we're just back into one of our depressed phases after the manic wears off. I haven't had a chance to listen to NE's conference call yet, but I gather Day is scarier than Stephen King, and I suppose I'll have to catch the chance to frighten myself to death.

I suspect we'll be getting positive news on the summer driving spree before we hear from OPEC -- though some action at their June meeting is a possibility. If more money comes out of the Internet stocks through sector rotation rather than a general market collapse, some of the money may find its way into drilling and service stocks.
