After reading the IBD report on APCO I was very disappointed. I did not feel they brought out the reasons why APCO is such a strong stock. The level of service they provide their clients far exceeds the standards in their industry. Wait times on phone requests are less than one minute and total call times are less than five. This compares with their competitors average wait time of 3 to 4 minutes. Also the knowledge of the service staff was neglected. Many ANSI (I believe its ANSI that certifies mechanics) work the phones at APCO so not only are problems addressed right away but they are also answered correctly more often than not. I feel that the service end of their business is why companys like Banc One, Allstate, Honda and Sonic choose APCO. Not just because they sell extended warranties with many different time options. IMO great they made the New America but too bad the article was not did not do APCO justice.
