Yes, I know. I had posted this problem earlier either on this thread or the "Discount Brokers Hall of Shame" thread. I had to call them twice today about it. They alway tell me that it is their normal procedure to correct the commissions overnight. But the last time it took three days to get it corrected, so I now call them immediately. I assume you know that the extra charge is a .01/share for stock under $2.00. They discontinued this surcharge back in February but have never corrected their system. For a big time penny stocks player, the erroroneous commission could be more than the stock! I am stretching the point, but 20,000 shares @ .01 would be $200.00 for the stock and $214.95 for the commission. And imagine how much (funds) would be unavailable to an active trader unavailable until the following day.
One of the brokers at Web Street once told me that they were the "best" for penny stock traders. I found it hard to believe, but what did I know then. Good Luck
