Marcos: OFF THREAD Thanks for the tips on espan~ol (how do I get that character over the n?) Once, long ago, I took Spanish in college (UCLA). Senor Cortes. I'll never forget that experience! He started class with an exam and failed every one of us. It was all uphill in that class. Later, when I was teaching a geography course on Middle America, spent some time in Mexico in preparation. This was in the 60's. Loved one town in particular. Santa Maria del Oro, near Guadalajara. As one person there said, "There is a little bit of Norteamericano in every Mexican, and a little bit of Mexican in every Norteamericano." I have found that to be pretty true.
