This online trading has taken on a momentum of its own which no one could have anticipated ahead of time. It does little good to scream and holler because we think things could have been done better. Of course they could be done better, but if you have a new service that operates at a fee as does AMTD and never has a problem, lets hear about it,frankly it doesnt exist. We must remember there are other human beings working at the other end of the line and it certainly is in their professional self interest to make their company the most efficient. I know they are giving their all to this end, they sure as heck arent sluffing off at a critical time like this. When I say "Cut them a little slack" I mean lets all work together, and see if all four of us cant come up with the best system that free enterprise has ever brought forth. Involved are the Traders, (us) The company service personnel, the managment , the hardware suppliers, the networkers, the phone companies and the software people. I think it is amazing when they can handle the thousands of orders they handle each day with as few a problems per centage wise. Here is how we can help. When you place an order, print out a copy from your screen showing the order , the time and the trade nr. that is assigned to your entry. If you do have a problem, and we will, either call or email all of the information so they dont have to waste time looking up the details. They have always bent over backwards to respond to me and I appreciate it. The other nite I put in an order to sell on the open at 11.75. It gapped open and they filled me at 13.125. Now that makes up for a lot of little complaints. Time will smooth this out like you wont believe, but in the meantime lets try and help this system develop.... Gil |
