This is one concern I have with "playing the gorilla game." Who wants to be a part of such a disgustingly unethical company as that? Everyone with a clue knows this is an absurd thing to claim, and that it will never really happen, but because of the fact that they are a gorilla, they can manipulate WIND's stock like this. Might even limit their ability to compete, without ever producing (or being able to produce) a competitive product.

As someone more famous than me said recently "I feel your pain."

I've been a software professional for more than 10 years. About a month ago I was asked to 'come up to speed' on Windows NT, as that is becoming an important platform for a larger number of clients.

It has been extremely painful. It is slow to work on and doesn't integrate smoothly in a heterogeneous computing environment. I immediately bought 100 share of MSFT. I think of it as an emotional hedge. If the stock appreciates, it eases the pain of having to work with their pathetic OS. If the company goes out of business, it's worth $8500 to me to get to work in a real development environment again. :-)

Ah well, such is the power of a gorilla...
