Right you are John! I saw the tipoff by their actions about 45 minutes before the rise started. I have a copy of the market maker's playbook. Needless to say, I positioned myself accordingly.

The market makers are always informed by the company or PR folks before news hits a stock. It's a courtesy along with a necessity. The market makers have a lot to gain or lose if they are taken by surprise. That's why I keep stressing how important it is to have Level II capabilities and to learn the various rules of the game. Playing without the right tools creates a distinct disadvantage. It's like trying to fight with one hand tied behind your back.

Lets's look at the math. A good program with Level II capabilities is a little over $300 a month. It might seem expensive but, in reality, it's dirt cheap. There was a minimum of 10 cents per share to be made just in today's TPII action. 3000 shares produced at least a $300 profit. How many times a day, week or month can you do this? Plenty!!! Think about it.
