And I'm "in" because the evidence of AIME/USW's progress in unveiling their service in Phoenix bodes extremely well for MSU.

We've all been disappointed over the past several years with management's ability to properly lock in a deal, or at least a business plan over the past two years. If Holloway had taken the advice of several of his engineers, MSU would be the company making this venture with USW instead of AIME. These ideas were being bounced around back in 1996 and everyone saw the potential for being involved in the WebTV concept except Holloway, who seemed more comfortable with producing quality hardware.

But I'm not complaining. MSU has the tech, they have it cheaper and better, and they have promising linkages with some reputable companies and others for their even MORE PROMISING ENVOY CD-ROM controller.

I'm not really concerned with the time frame being Monday or Tuesday... etc. I'm focusing on USW and AIME and how they deploy their service and let all boats rise with the tide.

And folks, I hate seeing the term "it's guaranteed" merely flouted about. We all know better. We make educated guesses and hope that the news meets our expectations. One thing that has a high confidence factor is that AIME/USW require some form of property rights to MSU technology and this gives MSU some amount of leverage since they USW has already let the cat out of the bag. Not having the rights makes them vulnerable to delays or having the deal fall through completely for them. I don't think they want that at this stage of the game.

Regards,

Ron
