Fero makes magnetic fluids and several associated products. The fluids are used in disc drive spindles as a bearing, used as seals in different things, and is also used in audio speakers. They also make crystal growing systems and are now selling the systems that make the 8" wafers, that all the fabs are switching to. At last report, they had a large backlog on the systems. I don't know what the chip slowdown will do to sales of the systems, but I doubt if it has much effect on backlog. I made some money on this stock several years ago and maintained a small position in my IRA, so I could keep getting the reports. I got back into it this year in a bigger way, when the stock started to move up. They have several unique patents, but have always had problems developing products and a market. Hopefully it will do well in the next couple of years. Jeff
