LXR BIOTECHNOLOGY Inc. (Richmond, Calif.) -- G. Kirk Raab, 62
years old, was named chairman and interim chief executive of this
biopharmaceutical company. Mr. Raab has been on the company's board
since February and was chief executive of Genentech Inc. until 1995. He
succeeds L. David Tomei, 52, LXR co-founder and a board member. Dr.
Tomei, who has been chairman and CEO since 1995, becomes executive
vice president and chief scientific officer and remains a director. |
