People with the kind of money they are playing with are usually not dumb. More likely, imo, they are arrogant and full of hubris, possibly from a recent success such as bringing down the price of ACRT.

(By the way, I just checked the Webster's definition for hubris and there is a part about it "often resulting in retribution." Seems very appropriate here. Let's get that salt ready.)
