Well, Stormin Norman, today's action was not about today. It was about something that will happen in the future. Monday? Probably.

There were seven sell orders for a total of 24,000 shares in the last half hour that only knocked the price down one tick. More importantly, there were two buy orders just before the close for 10,000 shares each. One or more people positioned themselves well for Monday. Those are not "huge" buys but large enough to indicate a knowledge by someone of impending news. Let's face it...if 17 market makers were given word of an upcoming event, you can bet that many of their best customers are given the word before the event happens. These market makers are also brokers with customers. We cannot forget that little fact. Hell, if we can't keep grand jury testimony secret in this country, why in the world should we think stock market events can be kept secret?

In short, I think we have seen the end of Friday news releases from this company. Janis will play by the "normal" rules or insist that the company does. Will it be Monday? I can read the screen but I'm not omniscient, damn it, so we shall see. <grin>
