Hi Christine, Have you heard about Advantage for fleas? We have a bad flea problem in South Texas. They seem to love the heat and humidity, and it rarely freezes. I was going crazy trying to get rid of the fleas on my cats. Holly is right about flea collars. They are useless. I have seen them congregate under the collars many times. I used to use a flea comb on my cats every night and get an average of 15 fleas. After I tried Advantage the flea problem was over. You must get it from the vet. All it takes is one drop between the shoulder blades about once a month. In fact I rarely have to treat them at all anymore. I have heard the same results from others that had a bad flea problem.
