But of course! Intel doesn't need that turkey Alpha, and AMD doesn't either. DEC couldn't keep 1 fab full makings Alphas so what's going to happen when 3 companies are competing? Intel got a fab and ARM for their money so I guess they can make a few wafers for DEC, but AMD is out of their minds if they waste fab capacity making Alpha.
