Electric Utilities and Y2K Q&A Forum: Embedded Chip Controlers

'asked in the Electric Utilities and Y2K Q&A Forum

Much work has already been done to isolate the "Embedded Chip" problem, however I have not been
able to find a listing or even a partial listing of actual devices that have failed, or have the clear
potential of failure.

Has anyone come across a device/controler failure list that has been compiled?

You are asking the same question as most of us, the only list that I know of is found at the EPRI site,
but at a COST. My company is in the process of joining this site in the hope that it contains usefull
information. We also intend to contribute to the list when the test finding start coming in.
