Howdy All!! Y'all keep me so busy answering questions, or getting the answers to questions, that I have little time left for the newsletter.... :0) I hope the majority of my readership is supplementing their studies by perusing this site.. Cetane. I called both Marty Huppert and Bill Carraway this evening in order to interpret the data that I have from the Flour-Daniel report on the product lab results. Using ASTM Test method: D613, the cetane rating for standard #2 diesel is 38-49. The GOE #2 diesel tests in at 50-56!!! This is a far higher quality fuel than what is currently being put in a "Mercedes". In fact, Marty commented that if these results are factual he would like have a couple hundred gallons to run in "HIS" Mercedes Diesel... :0) (No kidding, I've seen it). Bill says the higher cetane ratio is due to the higher quality of feedstock, namely used motor oil, which in itself is a refined product. Marty stated that the company will be able to claim top $$$ for its product as other Diesel suppliers may use it to boost their cetane levels through blending.. I hope that "nips" that question in the bud.... :0) I honestly didn't know the answer myself, but that is why we need each other to ask the probing questions to arrive at a better understanding of our investment. I will try to get a newsletter out tomorrow. Gotta watch the elections tonight and ponder the strategic impact of the soon to be pending impeachment proceedings... :0) Regards, Ron
