Well rapid upticks (ut) is not bad IF investors are buying in but if it is a rush by short term traders typically some investors get caught at the top when the short termers sell out. It is always best and you hope the base to be as solid as possible. LooK at SURG for example it began moving at .13 - .26 and we did not get on it (momentum traders mentality). We did not believe the DD. That is the problem with the internet now a days. No talk on the internet no nothing but it was steadily being bought. When they get this latin america deal this one is going to be far from over. Now as of this year if I see the potential for brokers to be coming in or especially an unfair advantage which brokers will perk up like bird dogs I will buy it and accumulate when I can. Based on this concept I have built one solid portfolio. NRAG has a good solid base however I am disappointed is no one is accumulating it during the slack news time. Interesting though it is not selling off. That is always a great sign. Everyone buys and sells a stock but investors will BTS which means they make limit orders and let the buying come to it. I cannot tell the number of times I have placed an order at the ask and it was taken. I buy at the ask and do not worry about and try to sell there or just under the ask. This never hurts a stock where bid sellers do. Investor are not watching the tick tick tick of the trading thus worrying about it. A lot of people work and can't day trade or momentum so they need solid stocks to buy that over the course of weeks or months define themselves. Some define themselves quicker than others. The problem is the waiting for the defining people get frustrated and sell. Watching all these stocks running and thinking "Gosh I could be making so much money." Question to that logic, how would know it was going to. More and more investors are going underground. Build their stocks with SOLID money. Heck you have to now a days. If you do not build a solid base it is not going to hold it will come right back down. You think it is easy finding investors. Good Grief I have been collecting investors name for months. I get to know these people and learn their habits and trading styles. There is more to trading than just researching the companies. Investors just accumulate and hold waiting for the stock to get defined. I cannot tell you the number of times a stock does not perform to expectations in a certain time frame and then falls. The base of a stock is what is important. I know Boob found GNNX, great find also Boob. Investors that have refused to sell it have made a ton of money by now. Is it over I donot think so they have just defined themselves. BAAT that held from .18 made a ton of money. SURG is tightly held which why it is where it is plus the investors know good things are coming very soon. Wait till they do the latin America deal. See SURG has a international product with has no competition. Just watch where it goes in four weeks. Even BLHG had minimum selling and NOW a broker has come into play. Some were complaing about that stock when it fly from .30 to $2.00 then crashed to $1.00. well investors waited a day and began accumulating again and some averaging down. So investing is profitable and takes a lot patience and believing in the DD. A stock has to have a solid base that won't sell out at the drop of a hat. People just need to use common sense when trading. ALso if you waiting long enough the momentum wave will hit the stock and you BTS then you have no intial and free shares basically. Merely sell against their buys then wait for the sell off and get more. GaBard
