Fred, as I understand it, all the exclusive golf clubs have 100% coverage. I guess you'll have to spend the bucks, join a decent country club and stop playing those muni courses. :-) There's big coverage only where the big boys play. :-))

We have some coverage gaps on I15 and also I5 in the Camp Pentleton area. As I understand it, NXTL monitors its coverage areas on a daily basis and they know EXACTLY where they have weak coverage. They added 2000 U.S. cell sites last year and will probably equal that again this year. My guess is that they'll need another 2000 or so in 1999 to approach the analog-type coverage that users seek.

When we examine customer complaints about NXTL's system, the comparison is always against analog because they're the ones with the deepest coverage. However, folks who have other digital telco phones are experiencing coverage problems too. NXTL's lead in new customer adds is a reflection on DC's benefits and greater coverage than other digital telcos.
