WOOF! bowser alert! bowser alert!
This one cost me a pretty penny last year (no pun). Its languished. It was ignored, it was hated. It was ridiculed. Almost fell off the board. I took a tax loss at 0.75 on Dec 23rd stuff I'd bought months before well above $2.00! Bah Humbug! Little did I know that 5 insiders were accumulating a total of over 2 million shares around that time. Merry Christmas indeed!
Since then they've released another quarter of negative earnings that compares favorably with year over year numbers and shows a trend towards breakeven in spite of Asian crisis impact. Bought a related industry company through a stock trade that brought new blood into management, another coo in fact, that specializes in sales focus and caused modest maybe 25% dilution. Are on the brink of announcing another quarter sometime in the next couple weeks. And, oh yes, the stock which languished in the sub one dollar range since before the end of the year, popped around April Fools Day to over a buck for a cool 75% gain. Since then held flat at this plateau. Take a look at the chart, you may find it, uh interesting...
Oh yeah, the company is Silicon Valley based, and was recently rumored to be tete a tete with some Intel biggies. The name is Silicon Valley Research and the symbol is SVRI. Others I've spoken with have classed its core technology as good stuff and in the path of some growth. I class it as small potatoes high risk but might be a fun thing to dittle with. Here's the thread to start your DD off:
