yes, there was a public statement. They said that they are going to spin off a portion of it to the public, to get it valued in the marketplace. They will still retain a large stake, though. I don't recall how big a stake. At least 50%, I am pretty certain.

I'll try to find the statement. It came in the context of a longer article. I think Luzco was the one who said it.
