again I repeat to myself: I bought this for the long term, the long term, the long term....)
Shane,
Thank you for posting the conference call number. After listening to it a couple of times, I'd say that your investment is safe.
We didn't make 50M Q only because of Japan. That's not Borl fault. With greedy Market Makers and hostile presses wanting to paint this company bad, it's important that Kathy Fisher not only stating facts, but leave no room for errorneous reports.
As you've heard in the call, the sales cycle is now longer because of the nature of enterprise deals. And during this transition, we are going to have the initial period of low revenue which happened to be this Q. But as John Floisand pointed out, Borl will have revenue coming from 1) Development 2) Deployment and 3) Management.
I think that they are on track, especially with the revenue stream picking up in the second half of the year. This will coincide with Rod's observation that Borl tends to do well in that time period.
In addition, the number of analysts during Q&A was 6, which doubling from the last time I listened to the call 3 or 6 months ago. The nature and the length of the Q&A was obvious that there are a lot of interest. I was impressed with interest from the Traveler Group, etc..
When this stupid volatility and shakeout ended, I think that we'll resume the uptrend. Filling the gap at 11 is a certainty, then the options people will bail out and there we go again.
Don't worry, be happy. |
