Craig, the Yahoo (Reuters) article: <<Saturday April 25, 12:34 am Eastern Time Vivus surges on hopes rival drug may give it a boost By Mark Egan>> reconfirmed Fayemi's upgrade logic, AND went on to mention PaineWebber's guy which I found to be very interesting in the context of "Who's next" on the up-grade food chain.
The article stated: <<PaineWebber analyst Charles Olsziewski echoed Fayemi's sentiments.''Viagra is not going to work for every patient that tries it,'' Olsziewski said in an interview. ''This oral medication has not been shown in clinical trails to be effective with patients with moderate to severe erectile dysfunction.''.........>>
OK, we knew that, how do you predict it will translate economically Charles? Fayemi's excitement led to an upgrade decision. Are you that excited?
VVUS was the number one volume leader in America yesterday. Shares equaling the entire float have been traded in the last two days. We are wondering what the short interest is doing, and as a subset, are and were the institutional investors in VVUS shorting the stock to hedge their investments? Is this run up striking fear into short hearts, or is it an answer to their prayers, is there an agenda, manipulation, a buyout, FDA approval, and what happens when the PFE momentum gears down from honeymoon pitch to business as usual?
Like we say in the South, This is gettin' good. But then again, VVUS has always been a rodeo.
Long Vvus,
