You got it backwards. Netscape received 20 millions from the four search engines in
1997. Can you imagine, Netscape did it for free before that

Zipster

I suggest you go back and read that post again

It was IRBY saying that and I was asking him because it made no sense to me.....read my last line on that post

you are asking me if I think they were doing it for free...but the question you should have asked me is do I think Netscape was doing the paying of the fees.

NO WAY

however, with the ever-evolving thing called the internet...i dont rule out anything for the future...

I dont have access to Instinet

But I can get after hours quotes on quote.com

However something is really screwed up with quote.com this weekend.

Not going to go into details but I dont trust anything I see on it this weekend.

and heck, for all I know...those after hours blocks on the search engines might have been wrong quotes too....

there are alot of indicators showing that SEEK would go to low 20's

however, with this sector you have to be prepared to turn your thinking around on a dime

I do that with each and every stock because I dont get married to a position (well that isnt true- I have done that and it is a mistake for me each and every time...so lets say my GOAL is to not get married to it).
