You've touched on what I think is the Achilles heel of their Y2K product. If the program only tells the user which of his programs is not Y2k compliant then why bother. I mean as a registered user of a mainstream application, I would assume that software maker would inform the registered user as to the upcoming problem and either ship him a patch on a disk or direct him/her to a website where the patch could be downloaded. This might not apply for smaller obscure software providers but for those that value their customer base, they have a vested interest in keeping those people current. Am I missing something here?
