Hello Scott,
Your, "Jules, Intel has no processor that competes with IBM's S/390 or RS/6000 processors. Intel processors may be used in small scale "enterprise servers", but they are definitely in the low end."

That is why Intel recently announced their Deschutes (for the low to mid range server market) and Merced (for the high end server market). Deschutes is here now and Merced will be available in mid 1999. Both systems run Unix and NT as their Operating Systems.
Jules
