Hi Jim, Just read through this thread. You've been following this one a long time. Do you think the "short" issue is still there ? In looking at reported shorts through 03/98 it looks like there is good correlation between the Fall/97 price action and short covering. I wonder if there will be a reported drop in 04/98 short interest to correspond to end of March price rise ? What else could be the cause for that large short count ? Don't understand a hedging speculation scenario, I'd be eager to hear how this might have come about. Anyway went long recently, hoping to squeeze a little something out of it.
