TCPRO and Telechart 2000 V4 two individual sep programs .If you have other programs (Supercharts 4---WOW--- read TC 2000 data you have to transfer from V4 to TCPRO V3 then they can read like before.
I have a 6 cap cd drive so its ok but if you only have a single cd ???
Any way I thought it V4 was an upgrade an almost deleted tcpro .(Duh!!)

Exporting data to TC2000 version 3.x

If you have version 3.x of TeleChart 2000, you can export version 4.x data to the 3.x data format. This allows you to run Easyscan and then import your results back into version 4.x using TC2000Transfer.exe .

1. Create a directory on your hard drive where the exported data will be stored. This is also the same directory you'll need to set your version 3.x Data Path Setting to so the program will know where to find the data.

2. Click Data | Export to File(s) to launch the Data Export Utility.

3. Choose the list you want to export (program will default to the active Chart List).

4. Click the Preset Configurations pulldown and select TC2000 version 3.x.

5. Use the scroll bar to select the number of days you want to export. We have selected 750 days (3 years).

6. Choose the hard drive and the folder where you want the files saved. In the graphic below you can see that we have created a folder named EXPORT in our TC2000 (version 3.x) directory.

7. Now click the Export button to begin the export process.

Once the export is complete, run TC2000 version 3.x. Change the Data Path Setting in version 3.x to your export directory. Then open the WatchList Organizer from the Main Menu by pressing F1. This will initialize the new data and you can now run Easyscan.
