Sorry friend, I don't see how an 18% flat tax with the present standard deduction makes me pay more taxes. Our gas taxes which hit us at the pump and then in the cost of everything else do more to hurt the poor that anything the sinister Mr. Forbes has in mind. Not counting a couple of years where I've hit it big on a couple of penny mining stocks, and my last year spent overseas, my yearly income has been less than 10,000 so I'm not looking down on the poor here when I support Forbes IMO. --Alan
