OFF TOPIC* sort of... To all? I am a shareholder in a company that has been very volital in the market with lots of other issues as well. It is called Presstek PRST. They claim to have a new laser (this is not, I don't think, for use in the Semi industry) They have developed several generations of Semiconductor diode lasers (made with a semiconductor) for use in the thermal imaging of printing plates on presses. The new laser is supposed to be a non-pulsing continous wave diode laser. This is supposed to be a big deal in terms of being able to be done. I am coming here to ask for opinions on such a technological breakthru and what, if any, such a devise may be used for and why it is special. I will thank each and all in advance for my intrusion on this thread.
