I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about using cable modem for trading ? Would it improve much ? What about security issues ? I find that during busy hours, I am lagged by about 30 secs, as far as real time quotes goes. Thanks for your tips. PS. Because @Home cable internet service finally comes to my area. I am thinking of installing it. Though I am not sue how reliable it is for using PC quote or Cybertrader type of real time quotes and order entry. I heard some guy had accidentally broadcast his confidential infos to the local LAN in his area, through cable modem.
