Francis , re. UP or DOWN The chart says one thing and it is not down . For the naysayers , AMD rose to $48.50 in '97 and there was no chance of it making a large earnings jump , it rose on what investors saw as a potential to make large profits . Today the pieces are in place for what the analysts called an explosive earnings growth , just MHO , Brian PS of course that wouldn't do anything for Intel's earnings which makes those other guys mad.
