Hi grayhairs,
Your comments have restored my faith in humanity. Some postings suggesting a Sable Island sized gas field could be determined from 1 drill hole had me searching diligently in my trusted Exploration Handbook to verify. Not having a background in Oil Exploration and not being aware of all the latest technologies available it was not up to me to set the record straight.I am looking forward to Scotsmans reply to Ed Pakstas.
Can the companies involved at Strachan choose not to release more information on this well for 1 year? Can they essentially case this well to depth, test it,run lines to Strachan gas plant and not release any information at all?
By the way your numbers suggesting 50 bcf proven and 150 bcf unproven.Am I correct to assume unproven reserves need to be proven with additional drilling?

Thanks again for your very honest observations and comments,
Richard
