Hi Richard,

Yes, the well participants can choose to keep all well information confidential for a period which expires 1 year from the date of rig release.

They can test it, tie it in, put it on production and not announce a single thing (publicly). But, they will have to disclose info to various contractors, service companies, suppliers, regulatory bodies, product marketers, etc. And, actual monthly production information becomes public within, I believe, 60 days of month end. So, bottomline is that INFO WILL GET OUT!!

Yes, or in the alternative an "extensive" production test can be used to "convert" probable to proven category.

Later,

P.S. - Your "common sense" had you reach for that "trusted Exploration Handbook to verify". Unfortunately, some investors lack either the handbook or the common sense, and swallow all the B.S. on these threads.

- It sounds as though Scotchman has heard the "predictable" next rumor!! If so, prepare for a buying opportunity on Monday. Man, I love this game!!
