And likewise the reason why inflation is not running away and likely will not is because the baby boomers will not buy new homes, cars, appliances and non essential items with that money. They want a nice big nest egg. These habits will not change until most of the baby boomers are gone. Then the economic and market psychologies will change to who knows what? That is not to say that analysts, arbitraege investors, or market manipulators will not try and use that fund managers fear HIGHTER INTEREST RATES argument. And that is my opinion on the subject.
