>>Are you saying that it is incomprehensible to hold long and short positions in a stock at different times and circumstances? <<

No Dale! Like I asked you before, I think you implied you are a doctor or something in the professions (sorry dont follow you or vvus since recently so excuse my ignorance) but you were trashing VVUS just last week. And I asked you WHY? Even if VVUS helped a very few people it would still be justified in supporting the company, Or if you are that biased, just leave it alone, This aint batteries or mineral water or cpu's we are talking about, These are real live people just like you and me and god forbid we should require the use of something like this be it MUSE or whatever in our life sometime and never say never. If the top 10 drugs sold in in the US is true then like 15-25% of your own family is either on prozac or zoloft let alone other drugs. But those drugs arent usually even necessary, I dont think that many people are clinically depressed to have the sales they do.

And so when I say I had doubts about most of the doctors I have met, I have just shown with my above reasons and your attitude why. These aint the days of florence nightingale. These doctors are in it for the money and nothing else. A lot of people dont think way.. Yet..

>>Again, I am not catching your drift. The market should reflect the efficacy, cost, competition and other factors affecting the general acceptance of a drug but, in the case of MUSE, the price of VVUS has often not borne any relationship to the drug (which I have said before is an OK drug for some people, but I don't know of anyone who prefers the mode of administration to a pill, assuming an equally effective oral alternative).

And the price of PFE bears no resumblance to the earnings! What a surprise. And please dont tell me about future earnings and outlook. There might be or there might not be. I am sure there would be some sales but not the kind everyone is jumping on about, unless most people making these predictions are having the limp dick problems themselves. See comments about prozac and zoloft above, so who knows, most americans might actually be impotent, I woudnt say that about china or india although I do wish more of them were!

Now when we go on the oral alternative, I think only a doctor who fell asleep in class would recommend drugs so easily, and it does seem a lot of doctors did fall asleep in class. But there can only be so far you can mix and match drugs to not cause enough side effects that the people taking them start to yell "HELP I HAVE FALLEN AND CANT GET IT UP!"
