Big software projects also succeed...I'm typing this message in an application that was developed in a big project. Date fields change, zip code fields change, area codes change, databases change, currencies change. Gosh...thanks for pointing out the obvious Mr. Jones. Software and software developers adapt. They have been doing so since the dawn of the age of computing. There is nothing magical about the Y2K "problem" except that it has captured the popular imagination due to its tie-in with the new millenium.
