TCS Awarded Phone System Contract for Anne Arundel County

TeleCommunication Systems Inc. (TCS) announced Friday that it was awarded a contract valued at up to $1.1 million from
the Anne Arundel County Public School system to provide Lucent Technologies telephone systems plus installation and
support services on an as-needed basis.
Under this contract, community colleges and municipal governments throughout Maryland as well as AA County secondary
schools can order these systems and services from TCS. The award is for a two-year contract with two option years.
A certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), TCS qualified for the contract because the company is an authorized
reseller of Lucent's line of Business Telecommunications Systems. TCS sells, installs and maintains Lucent systems
including Private Branch Exchange (PBX) switching systems and associated peripherals.
The company also offers installation, maintenance and special value-added services for the Lucent PARTNER(R),
MERLIN(R) LEGEND and DEFINITY(R) communications systems, the CONVERSANT(R) Interactive Voice Information
Systems and the INTUITY(TM) AUDIX(R) Voice mail and Messaging System.
