Hi, Benjamin! Welcome to the Feelings thread. When I clicked on your profile I noticed you are only 19 and have been investing for 7 years. That's sure cool; since you have already learned that tech stocks suck big time, you are probably awfully rich and happy for a college kid!!! Some of us are aging rapidly learning the same lesson. It would have been wonderful to have started out a long time ago and have a firm understanding of this little known (at SI, anyway) fact before losing most of my money. Well, my broker keeps trying get my attention by calling me at work several times a day and telling me my stocks are totally worthless, but being a former flower child, I distract myself from reality pretty well when I need to. Everyone over here (except Freddy Quinnelly; hi Freddy!) seems to be pretty open to new ideas, and interested in politics as well. If you could drop back by and explain in a little more detail how your party can support Republican economic principles and Democratic social policy at the same time, I'm sure a lot of us would be way interested.
