Dear Karen, OFF TOPIC: Me thinks thou art too shy. Bookmark my name (egotist that I am) and read the posts. You will see a mixture of serious investing, comradery, just plain foolishness and literary excellence.:) (David taught me that.) SI is a world unto itself. When you go to Coffee Shop (start with "Feelings") you WILL find a thread for YOU. TOPIC: There are several types of member-value for SI. I think Brad is underestimating the value of the lurkers to an organization like go2net and also doesn't want to say too much about it. The lurkers are a vast audience for advertising and therefore very valuable. The posters are a vast source of information for the lurkers. Posters can exist without lurkers but not the reverse so some people perceive the posters as more valuable. YOUR post has caused me to modify my thinking. Here is what you have now contributed to SI and to me. I now feel that for go2net ALL THE MEMBERS are valuable. So in my message #reply-4204272 I wish to change the value to $2.00 for each post and $0.10 for each "post hit." 246810
