NYT: Big Oil getting ready to go to court of public opinion.

nytimes.com

Care to tell me more of diesel fuel from nat. gas? Increasingly clear to me that natural gas (abundant, clean and cheap) will play a major role in future of energy. Hopefully natural gas will become important in fuel cells, but the shift to burn nat gas in cars is already under foot. Despite Big Oil's anachronistic grumblings, differently fueled cars (not just more widgets on exhaust pipes) seems inevitable. Isn't investing in nat gas a safe way to anticipate that?

Look at KNE: acquisitive, large distributor of NG, with sensible PE. Also a speculative play, possibly at the center of a change in paradigm. Rare mix.
