Hi Richard.----- re Gann.---- For far too long I have ignored Gann, partly because I never did learn how to draw the boxes correctly.. I'm probably in Grade 2 here. Question 1-----If one draws the box from the top of Wave 2 (rather than 1), I gather that what one is trying to do is to ascertain when 3 turns into 4 since 4 just broke up through a gann line . IF this is right (and I may be way off here) , what does one do in cases where, say, Wave V subdivides into 5 smaller waves and the entire 5 wave sequence of which falls within a linear reg channel with subwave 4 never breaking the channel or a gann line? When the price finally breaks up through a gann line. it is the start of Wave 1 of a new impulse. ---In such case, would it not have been better to draw the gann box at the top of subwave 1 of such 5th wave rather than at the top of subwave 2 ?--------Question 2-- In V7.1, my main problem is HOW to draw the box. I click on the gann box icon and anchor it at say the top of W2 and then I start dragging it across the chart .Do I stop only when I get to the far right ( today's bar) or do I stop only when the individual little gann boxes look like they are 1x1 little squares (which may involve stopping before today's bar or going past it in order to enlarge the box?? Also, how do I know that they are exactly squares? Many thanks
