Mary, re: P/E's. This approach to deriving P/E's has a number of problems.
For example, Yahoo and Excite both have billion+ dollar Market Vakue's, but negative earnings. I think you need to look at high cap stocks in their respective sectors. Software companies historically have twice the P/E of semi's. Also, throw out the small cap's, the Internet companies and companies with negative earnings. What Barons did means nothing to me. (Except that based on their numbers, Intel's profits are 23% of total Nasdaq profits! That's also hard to believe).
