I was an investor in Athena at the IPO. I still held some of my shares when Elan bought them. Science snobs can let a ton of profit pass by. It will be fun to see what AD therapy looks like long-term, but, thus far, Selkoe/Athena haven't made a buck from AD product sales, while Pfizer, Warner-Lambert and Eisai have. That said, you have realized by now that I was also referring to the BMY program (Abeta, secretase, etc.) when I talked of Alzheimer's and SIBI.
